‘Tis the Season for Giving! Omaha Federal Credit Union’s holiday community service campaign – Toys for Project Harmony – ran thru Dec. 10. We received a remarkable response, and we have YOU to thank for this toy drive’s overarching success! Unwrapped toys, gifts and cash donations proved to be plentiful at each of our three branches. We THANK YOU SO MUCH for your thoughtful and generous donations, as we look to directly benefit Project Harmony’s children, teens and caregivers this season. All proceeds and toys directly benefit children served by Project Harmony.

Project Harmony’s mission statement is: To protect and support children, collaborate with professionals and engage the community to end child abuse and neglect.

During this very worthy holiday gifting campaign, OFCU members and visitors donated monetary funds as well as purchased a variety of toys/gifts for toddlers-thru-teens and caregivers. As children and young adults restore their courage, facilitate healing and become more empowered at Project Harmony, they will continue to recapture more and more joy within their lives. And this cause is one way and one step closer toward helping Project Harmony fill their on-site Toy Closet which, in turn, provides children and caregivers with comfort items such as fleece blankets, stuffed animals, toys and clothes.

We, alongside Project Harmony, would like to THANK YOU for generously supporting this great cause. With your continued support, the offerings within Project Harmony’s Toy Closet are greatly enhanced, which is sure to bring many smiles and joyous laughter!
